From 1 January to 22 October 2024, the national surveillance system Italy reported: 657 confirmed cases Dengue (457 cases are associated with travel abroad and 200 indigenous cases, average age 45 years, 51% of cases are men, no deaths recorded).
The affected regions are Emilia-Romagna (36 cases), Lombardy (12 cases), Marche (139 cases), Tuscany (2 cases), Veneto (1 case) and Abruzzo (9 cases), as well as one case reported without location specification . infection is being determined.
