Amanda Seyfried opted for a wet hair look in Berlin
Amanda promotes Seven Veilsfilm about a theater director’s production Salome and dealing with one’s own repressed trauma is obviously a light-hearted break. It’s nice to see her, but I can’t give my whole heart to it and I can’t understand why. I looked at it and looked at it. Part of the problem is harsh lighting; Unfortunately, we didn’t have any photos that looked better than this. It’s not something she can control. Otherwise, I mean… the dress fits. It is not simple. It’s not absurd or incoherent. Why don’t I like it? Is it a matter of head style? Hair glued into submission? Because I just don’t think the individual parts add up to a dreamy enough whole, considering how good the source material is.
At the photocall she spoke simply:
She slaps more, although she does less. The outfit is stranger – the proportions are strange; I think a cropped shirt would go better with pants that aren’t so weird, loose, and won’t swell and then contract, squeezing her ankles like a grim death. Put together this way, it looks like a failed fitting. And yet, oddly enough, does it seem more interesting to you than the first photo? Have I turned upside down today? Am I as wrong as these handcuffs?!?
