This is one of the new features Google announced on Monday at the Mobile World Congress technology event in Barcelona. Other Android features that the tech giant has introduced are handwritten annotations in Google Docsinformation about nearby places by searching camera from Maps or instructions for public transport on a smart watch.

Google has just implemented this option in its Messages app, where it has added a shortcut to its Gemini AI through chats, as mentioned on the help page.

Users can access Gemini from chats in the Messages app, as Google explains on its help page. Gemini can help users write messages, search for information, or organize events or trips.

This feature is available in English and is in beta testing for the Google Messages app on Android devices. Google plans to gradually roll it out to all users.
