A Final Fantasy VII Rebirth patch will be released soon to fix the graphics.
Naoki Hamaguchi, as the director of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, has made it clear that the game will soon receive this patch to improve its appearance when playing in performance mode.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now playable on PS5 with some events after Final Fantasy VII Remake and Intergrade PS4PC and Steam Deck, but criticism over its appearance visual they confirmed patch.
Part of what makes this movie so good continuation of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy it’s its graphics and visual aspects, but many users have complained about the way it looks when play in performance mode.
The graphics quality seems to drop a lot and disappoint users, especially when compared to much clearer graphics mode.
According to One More Game, Naoki Hamaguchi visited the Philippines and director of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth mentioned the same thing; although it cannot reveal everything it contains.
Although he noted that Square Enix plans to release a patch that will update the game, and that one of the things that will be fixed will be visual quality of Rebirth in Performance mode.
“We have received a lot of feedback on whether the graphics will be improved in Performance mode or not.– Naoki Hamaguchi began.
“We’ve listened to your feedback and are currently working on an update to improve this aspect. I don’t think the release date is too far away yet“.
Hamaguchi explains that the next patch will fix certain situations in the game where characters become a little scary when the light hits them at a certain angle.
“We’ve heard from players that the lighting on their faces can sometimes make some characters’ shadows look scary. This is part of an update we are working on.“.

When asked about his preference between Fidelity and Performance, his answer was quick and simple: “I like to play other games in Fidelity mode because I like to see better graphics.“.
There’s nothing wrong with that, but there are people who prefer to prioritize FPS without losing much in graphical quality; and this is something they intend to improve.
