Blake Shelton will return to The Voice for the Season 25 finale
Blake Shelton returns to Voice, just a year after he ended his long career as a coach on the iconic reality singing competition. The country superstar is scheduled to appear in the Season 25 finale on May 21.
NBC reports Shelton will join fellow Voice alumni Kelly Clarkson, CeeLo Green, Niall Horan, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Adam Levine and Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefani, for a special tribute to the series’ 25-season finale. Voice. There are no additional details yet.

“I struggled with this for a while and decided it was time to move on from it. Voice after next season,” Shelton explained in a lengthy social media post announcing his departure.
“The show has changed my life for the better in every way and I will always feel at home here,” he added. “It’s been one hell of a ride these 12 years of changing chairs and I want to thank everyone at Voice from NBC, all the producers, writers, musicians, crew and support staff – you are the best. It takes a lot of hard work, passion and adult beverages (ha!) to put on a live show twice a week.”
Reba McEntire replaced Shelton Voicejoining John Legend, Dan + Shay and Chance the Rapper as coaches for the current season. Voice reported that Stephanie will return to Voice as a coach in season 26, joining McIntyre and new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.
