WELCOME TO RAYADOS, BRANDON VASQUEZ!

A striker with scoring instinct, strength and agility has arrived in Rayados!

In order to further strengthen the squad and build a better team, Monterrey Football Club announces the recruitment of player Brandon Vazquez ahead of the 2024 Clausura tournament.

The Mexican-American striker, born in San Diego, California and trained in the main forces of Xolos de Tijuana, moves to Monterrey on a permanent basis and with a contract until December 2027.

His talent and determination led him to Major League Soccer (MLS) with Atlanta United, a team with which he made his debut in 2017 and managed to win the MLS Cup and the US Open Cup.

In 2019, he moved to FC Cincinnati, where he became the player who scored the most goals in a football year for the American team.

He was the fourth leading scorer in the 2022 season and was named to the MLS Best XI, part of the American League’s “Perfect Eleven”.

With FC Cincinnati, he won the 2023 Supporters’ Shield, a trophy awarded to the team with the best record in the MLS regular season.

His good performances earned him a call to the MLS All-Star Game, a match that brings together the most outstanding soccer players in the American League.

As a member of Team USA, Brandon competed in the 2015 CONCACAF Honduras Under-17 Championship and the 2015 Chile Under-17 World Championship.

In 2023, Brandon was called up to the US senior national team, with which he reached the semi-finals of the Gold Cup and became the third top scorer in the international tournament.

Now the striker arrives at Rayados to strengthen Albiasul’s attack and help the team achieve their highest goals of the season.
