Microsoft launches Copilot+, a new line of computers equipped with artificial intelligence
Microsoft announced the launch of a new line of computers called Co-pilot+which can perform artificial intelligence (AI) tasks without depending on cloud data centers.

Microsoft has assured that these devices will outperform the Apple-designed MacBook Air 15 in some aspects, while also delivering long battery life and unparalleled performance in AI workloads.
According to the company, Copilot+ computers are capable of performing more than 40 trillion operations per second.
“They are 20 times more powerful and 100 times more efficient at running AI workloads. They outperform Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Air by nearly 58% in sustained multi-threaded performance,” Microsoft said in a statement.
These computers will be available starting June 18th. Users will be able to choose from a variety of models from well-known brands such as Lenovo, Dell, Samsung, ASUS, Acer and HP, starting at $999.
Copilot+ features include Recall, a tool that makes it easy to search for files and data previously viewed on your computer, even in browser tabs.
Additionally, Copilot’s voice assistant promises to improve the user experience by offering real-time recommendations in apps like Minecraft.
In turn, Yusuf Mehdi, head of consumer marketing at Microsoft, said the company plans to sell 50 million computers with artificial intelligence next year.
Microsoft also announced that OpenAI GPT-4 technology will soon be available as part of Microsoft Copilot.
Thus, Microsoft intends to position itself as the vanguard of the computer industry, equipped with artificial intelligence.
