Burgos, Lleida, Madrid and San Sebastian are putting forward their candidacies to host the LEB Oro Final Four.
Burgos, Lleida, Madrid and San Sebastian will have the right to host the “Final Four” of the Liga LEB Oro, which will secure the second place in the sporting promotion of the Liga Endesa ACB during the next 8 and 9 June. In the coming days, the FEB Executive Committee will determine the elected candidate.
Thus, San Pablo Burgos, ICG Força Lleida, Movistar Estudiantes and Guuk Gipuzkoa are currently aiming to host the final party, which will take place on Saturday 8 (semi-finals) and Sunday 9 June (finals).
This competition format, which debuted in two previous editions between 2008 and 2010, was finally established in the 2018/19 season with the celebration in Bilbao of the event culminating in the promotion of RetaBET Bilbao Basket. After two seasons in which the pandemic changed the usual outcome of the competition, the 2021/22 season brought with it the promotion of Marc Gasol’s Basque Girona to Fontajau, while last season Sunder Palencia became the first team to claim home title. An event that culminated in their victory at the event held at the Coliseum of Burgos.
