4K resolution found in Paper Mario: The Millennial Door code for Nintendo Switch
4K references? We already know which game includes new features regarding previous version, and then the press after the tests confirmed something else. We are talking about a remake of Paper Mario: The Millennial Door for Nintendo Switch.
It was released today, May 23, 2024. Having learned that it runs at 30 frames per second and the protection of the director of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, we have now learned of an interesting discovery data miners.
And several data miners like @RibShark found code in the game that supports 4K resolution. Here’s what we know:
- The Nintendo Switch does not support 4K resolution, suggesting that it is being prepared for a Switch successor model.
- There are rumors that the Switch’s successor model will have backwards compatibility and improvements.
- Similar speculation arose from code taken from Endless Ocean: Luminous.
