Leak Reveals Epic’s Next Free Game

Billbil-kun is a well-known tipster and gaming connoisseur who has already been proven correct in his last two predictions for Epic’s free-to-play games: Dragon Age: Inquisition last week and Farming Simulator 22 this week. A leaker on Dealabs (in French) predicts that Epic will unveil Chivalry 2 next week starting Thursday at 5:00 pm PT. It is unknown where the information came from.

Developed by Torn Banner Studios and published by Tripwire Presents on June 12, 2022, Chivalry 2 sees two factions fight for dominance in a medieval kingdom. The Knights of Agatha represent traditional values and fight for honor and the rightful king. The Masonic Order represents revolution and the struggle for power and control. Players choose a side and different classes: knight, vanguard, foot soldier and archer, each with unique skills and weapons. Each class has access to specific armor sets and accessories, allowing players to customize their character to suit their preferred playstyle.

On Steam, chivalry 2 has good ratings: 82% positive reviews out of over 29,000 reviews. On Metacritic, the game has a good Metascore of 82, but players rate Chivalry 2 much lower than critics, as evidenced by the low user rating of only 5.2. The main reasons seem to be performance and balance issues.
