According to the Digital Library of Traditional Mexican Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. (UNAM) This plant is scientifically called Cissus sisoidum L. and is widely known as Heal everything or Judas gut.

- Corn: The leaves are cooked over comal or charcoal and pressed against the grain until it bursts and the pus comes out. The leaves can also be macerated in alcohol and applied to the grains if necessary.
- Stomach ache: In case of inflammation of the stomach due to excessive consumption, the plant is immediately boiled along with the grass. It can be taken orally or given as a suppository.
- Ear ache: The juice of peeled leaves is used.
