The Secretary of State for Communications, Francesc Vallés, reminded that the figures are compared to the 2019 European elections, which benefited from coinciding with municipal and regional elections. “At the 2014 European Championships, participation at 2:00 p.m. was 23.84%; in 2009 it was 24.10%; and in 2004 it was 24.56%,” Vallés listed. “So, and taking an average, we are certainly about four points above the usual participation in European elections,” the Secretary of State for Communications stressed.
