Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater Deluxe and Collector’s Edition revealed
Konami has announced the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater are now available for pre-order, although this may vary by region.
Metal GeaMetal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eaterremake Metal Gear Solid 3 which will be released on PS5, Xbox Series and PC in the future, yesterday at the Xbox Games Showcase a trailer was presented with a lot of new and impressive images.
The day after Xbox event (most similar to the old E3 conference), Konami published a new video from its “Legacy Series” (which still does not mention Hideo Kojima), presented by David Hayter, who voices Solid Snake and Naked Snake in almost all parts of the saga.
The video provides an overview of the new features that Konami has already announced since the trailer and which we summarize here (a new shooter-style third-person camera with more modern controls and realistic wounds and impacts in real time on the skin of the Snakes).
But the most innovative thing is that Metal Gear Solid Delta has opened reserves in both Europe and America, and despite the fact that the release date is not yet known, its editions have been reviewed.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will have two special editions: Deluxe and Collector.
The bad news is that, judging by today’s video, the Collector’s Edition will only be from America: it will not reach Europe. Deluxe (with PEGI 18 from Europe) can be reserved now (although the site was not working at the time of publication of the news).
What Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Brings to the Collector’s Edition
Deluxe Edition (which will definitely be released in Europe, it has PEGI 18, although preliminary because it is not classified yet) comes with special box, steelbook with original 2004 MGS3 art, FOX patch, some postcards and an “exclamation mark”, we don’t know if there is a patch.
Referring to Collectorwhich seems to only be from America, comes with terrarium diorama, steelbook, Snake lanyard, the same Fox patch and another one from the jump in Halo..
Our theory (since the site isn’t live yet) is that the Deluxe Edition will only be for Europe, and the Collector’s Edition will be for America, which will have an exclusive Terrarium. But Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater There’s no date yet (rumored to be 2025), so we’ll be on the lookout for more details.
