“To say that I am disappointed is to say nothing. I wish all participants good luck. I want to thank all of the USGA staff, volunteers and the Pinehurst community for putting together what I know will be an incredible championship. I hope to be back in action as soon as possible!” he added.

“This is worrying. Things are getting better It’s getting better, but I’m definitely still hurting. “We’re trying to understand what happened because I think it’s most likely a skin problem. If I had to show you this, it is at the bottom between my little finger and the next finger,” Ram said then.
“I don’t know what happened, but he got infected. He was in a lot of pain. During my morning rounds last Saturday, I gave myself a shot to numb the area. This should have lasted the entire round, but by the second hole I was starting to hurt.“, continued the Spaniard.
“The infection was the worrying part, it’s under control now, but it’s still swollen and I’m in pain. There’s a reason I came here wearing a shoe and flip-flops, I’m trying to keep the area dry so it heals as soon as possible. I do what I do. I can, the human body has its own rhythms,” he concluded.
Thus, Ram refuses to participate in the third “big” season.
