The success of the Sopar de Sant Joan, organized by the San Antonio Commission.

Just before 9:30 p.m., more than 350 residents approached the Hermitage, many of whom had not purchased tickets in advance for the dinner, which was quickly resolved thanks to the dexterity and foresight of the mayors, led this year by Vicente Elderly. Comissió de Sant Antoni, which, after the success of the evening, thanks to joint efforts, managed to give new impetus and revitalize this traditional event in Benidorm.

Among those present are the mayor of Benidorm, Tony Perez; festival councilor Marilo Cebreros, other members of the corporation and regional deputy José Ramon Gonzalez de Zarate. Likewise, representatives of the city’s social and festive groups took part individually, including the Peñas Association “Verge del SSofratge”, led by its president Jaumes Cortés.

Attendees were able to enjoy a hearty dinner and enter into a drawing for numerous prizes offered by the Commission and businesses in the city, and the agape party ended until dawn.

Profits from the dinner will go entirely towards the organization of the San Antonio Festival, which will also be celebrated at the Hermitage of Sens next January.
