Several people were killed in an attack in the German town of Lautlinger

Three people were killed and two were injured as a result of a brawl in the German city of Lautlingen, belonging to the state of Baden-Württemberg in the southwest of the country, according to Reuters. ,

Police officers reported that they received several calls reporting gunshots near Albstadt-Löningen. When they arrived at the scene, they found three dead people and two injured women. The dead included the author of the crime himself, who also shot himself to death.

Despite the initial qualification of what happened as a “mass shooting”, German police have announced that it was a domestic incident resulting from a family dispute in which three people lost their lives and two were injured. Spokespersons have pointed out that it was not a large-scale incident, and confirm that an “investigation operation” is underway to determine the exact causes of the incident, to ensure that the public is not in danger and that the situation is under control.
