First friendly match of the 24/35 preseason | FC Cartagena
The first friendly match of the 24/25 pre-season training was played at the Pinatar Arena, in which Cartagena faced Bournemouth U21.
The Pito Abelardo project began with an initial 11 new players: Pablo Cuñat in goal, Rios Reyna and Sergio Guerrero, accompanied by Alcalá, Luis Muñoz, Jairo, Juan Carlos and Narváez, as well as three players from the subsidiary: Checo, Puche and Dani Manzanares. The first half was more rhythmic than expected, with a clear dominance of the albinegros, who had more shots, although they did not make clear shots on goal. Very active Jairo on the left flank and Sergio in the center of the field.
In the second half, a completely changed lineup took to the field in Pinatar: Fuidías in goal, Sipcic, Andugar Martín and Álvaro in defense, a midfield with Andy, Carmelo, Quique and Cedric as midfielders, and Baldo and Ortuño. A brilliant start, a goal 15 seconds after the start, a long pass from Sipcic to the left flank, controlled by Cedric, who entered the penalty area and put the ball in the penalty spot so that Ortuño opened the board.
Albinegro’s second goal was scored by a reserve team striker in the 58th minute. Baldotaking advantage of a rebound from Martin’s shot by the English goalkeeper in a superb personal performance. The last minutes were a succession of players arriving from Cartagena thanks to the arrival of Cedric and Martin on the flanks. Ortuño headed in and Andy from the front increased the score, which never changed.
Good mood and minutes to see the newcomers and guys from the reserve team.
