We visited Jose Maria’s restaurant for a traditional Segovia dinner.

A VERY SPECIAL EVENING

In pre-season, marking 21 years since our first dinner in this restaurant, our president Enrique Cerezo, players Rodrigo Riquelme and Arthur Vermeeren, and Jim Miller, representative of the Ares Group, carved up a roast suckling pig Segovian style.

This Thursday our team celebrated its traditional annual dinner at the José María restaurant in Segovia, where they were greeted at the door by a large crowd of fans.

Enrique Cerezo, our President, and Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, our General Manager, led the sports expedition made up of players and coaching staff who are currently training for the pre-season in Los Angeles de San Rafael. Also present at the event were our Vice President Antonio Alonso, our Advisor Oscar Gil and Jim Miller, representing the Ares Group, one of the main shareholders of the Club.

Rodrigo Riquelme and Arthur Vermehren, together with our president Enrique Cerezo and Jim Miller, were responsible for the tradition of cutting up the pig with plates and then throwing the plates on the ground. A very funny moment that our entire staff enjoyed.

The dinner ended with a toast to the campaign that would begin in just a month.
