TikTok users have been searching for Emma Roberts’ movie Delirium, but it’s a bit complicated, so here’s exactly how to watch it online and what you need to know.
Roberts made her debut in the 2001 film Impact opposite Johnny Depp, and went on to have recurring roles on Nickelodeon’s America’s Sweetheart (along with her aunt Julia Roberts), The Grand Champion and Unbelievable.
2008 was a pivotal year for her rise to fame as she topped the album Wild Child. Three years later, she starred in Scream 4 (arguably her best role) and then joined the American Horror Story ensemble cast in Coven.

However, one project remains a bit of a mystery: Delirium, which some believe is a film. This is not entirely true – let’s figure it out.

The “movie” everyone is looking for, Delirium, isn’t actually a movie at all: it’s the unaired pilot episode of a canceled TV show.

Roberts’ role in the series as Lena Holloway was first announced in 2023. Based on Lauren Oliver’s bestselling novel, the series is set in a world where love is illegal and considered a disease that can be “cured” by surgery. As you might expect, she falls in love.
The pilot was developed by Karin Usher and Rodrigo Garcia and stars Daren Kagasov as Alex, “The Invalid” – a man who has not subjected himself to the dystopian procedure.

However, Fox ultimately rejected the pilot, prompting a social media campaign from fans of the books to have the episode released elsewhere. A year later, Fox announced that it would be added to Hulu… for just 24 days, after which it disappeared from all streaming platforms, seemingly forever.
Kiliaen Van Rensselaer, FOX’s head of multi-platform programming, said (per IndieWire): “We have a completely finished piece of material, which is great. There was no place for it on air at the time, but that’s because it was made and we believe it’s a great piece of work. “It made sense to let consumers see what was done.”

Unfortunately, despite continued success on TikTok and occasional appearances on… less legal sources, there are no plans to revive the series.
