The Juan el Chico Lottery Administration delivers the big prize from La Primitiva to Vecindario.
The State Lottery and Sportsbook have confirmed that the La Primitiva draw held this Thursday, August 22, has left a special prize of 87 million euros in the Canary Islands. The ticket was sold at the administration Juan Boy, which from today has its own term and becomes an amulet for lucky players.
This office is located at Calle Bentejuí, 2, corner with Calle Primero de Mayo, in Vecindario, in the municipality of Gran Canaria, Santa Lucia de Tirajana. There, one person issued a ticket with six hits plus a refund of approximately 87,403,512.45 euros.
In a conversation with this newspaper, the administrator John BoyGuillermo Montoya recalled that from the primitiva point of view, this is the largest prize ever awarded in the Canary Islands and the second largest in the history of La Primitiva in Spain.
Montoya tells us that amidst the hustle and bustle of the day, he is busy with his colleagues from the press and neighbors who have come to “check in” and rejoice with them. “When a major prize is awarded, there is a slight increase in sales.”
