Games that could only be seen at Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase and Indie World from Japan.
Yesterday, Nintendo hosted a double livestream featuring Indie World and a Partner Showcase. In this article, we’ve collected all the announcements from the Nintendo Direct… well, that’s not exactly true.
As usual, there were differences between the Western and Japanese shows, with some additional games shown and the Japanese release date for some games given.
In this article we are going to collect these announcements, always keeping in mind that we cannot guarantee that the announced games will appear in the West or that the release dates will coincide with the release dates in Europe and America.
TOKIMEKI MEMORIAL: FOREVER WITH YOU – EMOTIONAL
Konami has announced a remake of Tokimeki Memorial, one of the first visual novels with dating sim elements, originally published in 1995. The emotional version features the ability to switch between pixel art and a new drawing style.

HISTORY OF DORAEMON DORAYAKI SHOP
Kairosoft, the company behind successful management games such as Game Dev Story or Pocket Academy, has published a game under the Doraemon license in which we manage a pastry shop. Now it is available in the West.

Onion Games, the studio created by Super Mario RPG veterans, has set a release date for its next game after Luna; it will arrive on December 26. The studio has revealed that an English version is still in development, but does not yet have an estimated release date.
STO LINES: THE LAST DEFENSE ACADEMY
This strategy game from the creators of Danganronpa is coming to Japan in April 2025, but in the West the date is still “early 2025,” so we don’t yet know if it’ll be a simultaneous launch or if we’ll have to wait a bit.
DLC FOR THE WANDERER SHIREEN: SECRET DUNGEON OF THE SERPENT ISLAND
The latest installment of the veteran Mystery Dungeon saga is getting DLC, which will be split into two parts and add two new playable characters and a dozen dungeons.
DISNEY MUSICAL PARADE: ENCORE
Featuring songs from Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan and many other Disney films, the rhythm game will launch in Japan in November, but its release in territories outside of Asia has not been confirmed.
NO CASE SHOULD BE LEFT UNSOLVED
The Switch version of No Case Must Remain Unsolved, a slick detective thriller developed in South Korea that debuted on PC earlier this year, is coming to the West on September 19th, so we can confirm that it will be coming to the West at the same time.
CENTER FOR DISSOLUTION OF URBAN MYTHS
We continue to solve mysteries, in this case, solve cases related to urban legends. The game will be released in February 2025, and the publisher has confirmed that it will come with texts in Spanish.
REVIEW YOURSELF: PERSONALITY TEST GAME
This curious hybrid of game and personality test, which we’ve already seen at previous events, has been confirmed for a Switch release in October; it’s now available on PC and mobile.
PLATFORM 8
The sequel to the first-person horror game Exit 8, already available on PC, will be released on consoles in November.
2nd quarter HUMANITY
The sequel to the puzzle game based on drawing elements on the screen is now available on Switch, including in the West.
BATTLE WITH THE ANIMAL TOWERS
This physics puzzle game is now available in all areas where we have to place animals in the shape of a tower so that they do not fall.
