Accenture will locate one of its six major global artificial intelligence centers in Malaga

Accenture will locate one of its six largest global centers for the development of advanced artificial intelligence in Malaga in collaboration with Nvidia. A working group called NVIDIA Business Group has been created, which will include 30,000 specialists from the technology consulting firm, both companies said. Accenture’s most ambitious project in years aims to help clients reinvent processes and scale the adoption of agent-based AI (artificial intelligence that can act), personalized to each client’s needs.

Accenture guarantees that so-called AI Agentic is the future. “We are moving towards artificial intelligence that doesn’t just react, but also learns, improves and works as part of a team. This is a huge step forward in technology that will change the way we think about productivity and innovation in the world. context of large-scale AI,” explains Lan Guan, director of artificial intelligence at Accenture.

Sources at both companies note that, in addition to the Andalusian city, Accenture AI Refinery’s network of engineering centers will be located in Europe (London), Asia (Bangalore, Singapore and Tokyo) and North America (California), enclaves from which large-scale operations and development of fundamental models using NVIDIA AI.

In addition to AI’s global impact on the data center, generative AI sales at Accenture alone reached $3 billion in the last fiscal year. The new team will help clients lay the foundation for agent-based AI functionality using Accenture AI Refinery. A platform that leverages all of NVIDIA’s AI technologies to advance areas such as process reimagining, AI-powered modeling, and AI sovereignty. Likewise, the platform will be available on all public and private cloud platformsand will integrate with other Accenture workgroups to accelerate artificial intelligence in the SaaS and Cloud AI ecosystems.

Julie Sweet, President and CEO, Accenturehas demonstrated a shared commitment with Nvidia to put customers at the forefront of using generative AI as a catalyst for reinvention. He said, “Accenture AI Refinery will empower companies to reimagine their processes and operations, discover new ways of working, and scale AI solutions across the enterprise to drive continuous change and create value.”

Artificial intelligence not only reacts, but also learns, improves and works as a team.

Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIAnoted that “AI will allow companies to scale innovation faster. In fact, NVIDIA’s platform, Accenture’s AI Refinery, and our combined expertise will help companies and institutions accelerate this transformation to deliver greater productivity and unprecedented growth.”

Lan Guan also believes that Only 10% of companies have fully scaled up the AI generation, but they face many common challenges along the way.“such as cost, complexity, technical debt, data preparation and talent.” Despite all of the above, the board believes that the “next wave of artificial intelligence” will be a big step forward and will change the way our clients reinvent their businesses.

Accenture is clear that AI will move towards the aforementioned ability to act. . “AI models need to be tuned and improved to meet the individual needs of companies, and this is done through a process called a data flywheel, which is fed in and out as AI applications are developed that run on and interact with humans.” , in a continuous learning cycle.
