Caixabank will sell new ICO loans backed by European funds

Kaishabank will provide its clients with new credit lines promoted by the government through Official Credit Institute (ICO) mobilize more than €30 billion from the Recovery Plan, supported by Next Generation funds.

Thanks to the agreement reached between both organizations, Caixabank will sell lines under the name “ICO Verde”, with a total value of 22 billion euros, which will be used to finance projects of both companies and households aimed at accelerating the energy transition.

Business growth

Case studies include sustainable transport (low emission vehicle fleet), energy efficiency, decarbonization industrial processes and water management, among others.

Caixabank clients will also be able to access the “ICO companies and entrepreneurs” lines, designed to finance projects for the growth of companies, with a particular focus on smaller ones.

Differentiated Offices

This line, with a total funding volume of 8,150 million euros, includes a tranche of 1,000 million for the digitization of equipment and increasing the competitiveness of the tourism sector, as well as a tranche of 150 million aimed at achievements in the field of digitalization and artificial intelligence in universities. , both public and private.

In this regard, the bank will rely on its extensive team of specialized professionals, as well as a network of differentiated offices for various groups.
