Alien Isolation 2 is official: one of the best horror games of the last 20 years confirms a sequel

SEGA had an outstanding debt to the fans of the Alien franchise. Although Alien Isolation had its fierce detractors in its early days on the market, over the years it has become a true cult game. After decades of operating under absolute radio silence (and perhaps thanks to the success of Alien Romulus), the tenth anniversary of its release came with some good news: Creative Assembly is working on Alien Isolation 2.

“Today, I’m pleased to announce on behalf of the team that a sequel to Alien Isolation is in early development.“- says Al Hope, creative director of the first part, in a message on the occasion of the anniversary. “We look forward to sharing more details with you when we are ready.”

Among fans of the license, there is an opinion about which game of the saga is the best in history. Nearly most choose Alien Isolation, which tells an alternate story in which Ellen Ripley’s daughter searches for her mother at a station where she is not welcome.. The presence of an alien lurking in every ventilation duct increases the tension while trying to avoid it at every moment when he is the main character.
