Bogatell Beach hosts “Barcelona, the Lighthouse of the World,” one of the most impressive light, music and drone shows the city has seen in recent years.
What do light, music, the sea, sailing and technology have in common? Tomorrow, Thursday, on Bogatell Beach, these elements will be combined to offer an unprecedented show in Barcelona. Starting at 21:00, the city will light its “beacon in the world”, a symbol of light, creativity and culture, with which the final of the 37th America’s Cup will begin. matches between trophy-defending Emirates Team New Zealand and a challenging Ineos Britannia team.
Combining music, light and innovation, the ceremony will deliver a revolutionary experience designed to captivate audiences everywhere. A 40-minute visual and audio journey in which, under the motto “Barcelona, a beacon in the world,” the Catalan capital will reaffirm its role as a global benchmark in the fields of sport, culture and innovation. The visual and audio storytelling will be complemented by the collaboration of the Orchestra and the Cora del Gran Teatro del Liceu, the School of Montserrat and the Castellers of Vilafranca. Interpretations by soprano Sarah Blanche and tenor Arnau Torder will add a lyrical and emotional dimension that will reinforce the event’s message: the union of nature and human creativity to solve the challenges of the future.

➤Racing village. Located on the Mall de la Fusta, it offers a free and accessible experience for everyone, connecting visitors to boats and command bases. It will be open from 12 to 22 or 23 hours, depending on the day, admission is free, but capacity is limited.
➤ Fan zones. Located on Plaza del Mar and Bogatell Beach. These are free access areas where you can monitor exits and activities closest to the buoys. They have giant screens, exhibitions, food offerings and entertainment.
