Cecotec is on the side of electric motorcycles. And you can buy them at home

Surely you have ever come across Cecotec products for the home. Vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, humidifiers… The Valencian company has a strong presence in Spain and is known mainly as a technology company specialized in the home sector.

Now the company is making a foray into the electric motorcycle industry with the release of two mopeds and a more powerful scooter. As with other Spanish manufacturers such as Velca, the motorcycles are born in China, although they are brought to Spain with appropriate modifications to meet European standards.

The most striking model that Cecotec will sell is the Vulcano, priced at €4,999. This is a scooter that bears an undeniable resemblance to the Honda ADV 350, with a 6000 W motor, a top speed of 120 km/h and a range of 150 km.

It has compound braking, inverted forks and gas rear shock absorber. Being fully electric, it has three driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sport.

The intermediate moped is the Shark, which will sell for 2199 euros. Here the engine has half the power – 3000 W, and the speed is limited by law to 45 km/h. This little scooter has a range of 45 kilometers, which can be doubled by adding a second removable battery.

One of the biggest strengths of this bike comes from this. It can be recharged at home as the battery can be easily removed from the seat to charge anywhere.

Finally, we have a small specimen at home, the Cecotec skull. It is equipped with an 800 W motor, a 48 V and 20 Ah battery with a range of 40 km. This is a motorcycle designed for purely urban conditions and short trips, the price of which is 999 euros.

Cecotec scooters can be purchased on their website. Bearing in mind that the 125cc validation restrictions have not yet materialized, any of the three can be driven with a B licence.
