At least 22 people were killed and another 117 injured this Thursday (10/10/2024) due to two Israeli bombings against two buildings in the center of Beirut, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reports.

The emergency operations center of the above-mentioned ministry said in a statement that the “initial” number of victims between the two attacks against the neighborhoods of Ras al Naba and Nuwayri is 22 dead and more than a hundred injured.

The bombings targeted a building in the vicinity of the Al Amelia building in the Ras al-Naba neighborhood and the Khatam al Anbia compound in Nuweri, the southernmost neighborhood of the Lebanese capital, where several security teams also arrived. According to the Lebanese National News Agency (ANN).

It is the third attack on the city since Israel launched an intensive air campaign more than two weeks ago, targeting mainly southern and eastern Lebanon as well as the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, known as Dahya. , is directed against.

Kola and Bachura, among other areas of the capital, have been attacked in recent weeks.

Outside its borders, but adjacent to them, the suburb of Dahaye has been bombed daily over the past two weeks, forcing its residents to flee to other safer areas and turning the populated suburb into a haunted area.

According to data provided by Lebanese authorities, the Israeli attack has forced more than 1.2 million people to flee their homes in various parts of the country.
