Having set the future for Halo Infinite, 343 Industries is already working on new projects.

Halo Infinite continues to evolve after years of content and content in its online variant. After several seasons and a slew of cosmetics added to both the store and Battle Passes, the game is finally taking some steps toward what feels like its completion (though it’s happening gradually). New seasons will be called operations.elements of which we have already discussed in previous news.

While updates will be more frequent and will still include a lot of content, 343 Industries is open to considering future projects that will likely include a post-Halo Infinite release. Game-as-a-service model Halo Infinite will continue to workbut it’s clear that it will receive less content as the new Halo installment is prepared or other projects the studio is considering, as has already happened with Halo: Master Chief Collection.

343 Industries already has several teams working on new projects beyond Halo Infinite.

Brian Jarrad, Community Director at 343 Industries, was one of those who participated in the Halo Infinite community stream, which detailed What will the new content updates be? (the next one will be called CU 29). Jarrad left some words that suggest that 343 Industries is already preparing for new projects in the company. We leave you with his verbatim words:

“We have a dedicated team that is working on Halo Infinite support and will continue to do so in the future, but we also have additional teams now that are accelerating into the future and working on entirely new projects.”

The first seasons of Halo Infinite got off to a rocky start, but… 343 Industries worked and put in a lot of effort in introducing a lot of content into the game as the remaining seasons are released. Today, it’s a very solid game with plenty of elements to unlock and plenty of game modes to keep you entertained for hours. Additionally, their Battle Passes do not expire, and most of their content can be unlocked without rushing, unlike other games-as-a-service. However, at Somosxbox we’re also eager to see what new projects the developers at 343 Industries bring to us as we continue to enjoy Halo Infinite.
