Samsung will bring together the Spanish developer community at Samsung Dev Day | Present

Samsung’s Spanish developer community, Samsung Dev Spain, will celebrate its annual Samsung Dev Day event on November 7th in a hybrid format. The event will take place in person at the Espacio KOI in Madrid and can be followed via streaming. This edition will feature leading experts in the field of artificial intelligence, whether used in the development and design of applications and services, as well as in healthcare or the Internet of Things.

The purpose of this meeting is to present the latest trends in the sector and the latest news from the Samsung ecosystem. David Alonso, Director of Mobile Business for Spain and Portugal at Samsung Iberia, will welcome the event, which will be hosted by the CEO of the School of Industrial Organization, José Bayon. Then Santiago Izquierdo, Head of MX Platform and Technology at Samsung Iberia, will give the first presentation in which he will talk about the latest news from the company and all the possibilities they offer, highlighting the new foldable devices of the Z series or the Galaxy Ring Ring. .

Subsequently, Miguel Angel Peces, Project Manager for Innovation Services at Samsung Iberia, will talk about the updated Samsung Health ecosystem, and Boris Rodriguez, CEO and co-founder of Psifiacos, will provide details on how they integrated Samsung Health into the “ANNi” app. which warns about eating disorders. In turn, Nagore Bilbao, Project Manager for Innovation Services at Samsung Iberia, will talk about the capabilities of SmartThings Find, one of the services of the Samsung IoT and connected home platform.

Of particular note is the presence of Carlos Santana, renowned for his work in social media and an expert in the field of artificial intelligence, who will lead an exclusive session on the future of artificial intelligence and its impact on the world of software, as well as teacher Genar Vega. and a writer who will explain how to use AI to reimagine the user experience. The ceremony will be hosted by Carlos Azaustré, a professor at the European University and an influential technology content creator. At the end of the day there will be Dev Day Quiz 2024 – an online presentation competition of the day with important prizes.

Since its inception in 2011, the Samsung Dev Spain community has over 21,500 members. Over those 15 years, the company has contributed to the development of more than 7,000 applications through training programs, documentation, and device credits.
