IV Health Fair opens its doors

The Mayor of Orihuela, Pepe Vegara, and the Health Councilor, Irene Celdran, opened this morning the IV Health Fair, which is taking place today and tomorrow at La Lonja Auditorium.
“We are happy because this fair unites, and when we talk about health, we talk about a better quality of life, and it is important that the youngest people know about this. We have a vaccination point that was very well received last year and had a large influx of schoolchildren from different centers in Orihuela.” In addition, Councilor Oriolana thanked all the associations and organizations that “have chosen this fair for another year and are participating at their various booths, providing information and sharing their important work.”
This afternoon it will be pediatric nurse Armando Bastida’s turn to give a talk on “Parenting with Common Sense,” free until seats are full and starting at 6:30 p.m.

Among nThis new edition, organized by the Ministry of Health, brings together: Orihuela Health Department, Orihuela Public Health Center, Spanish Association Against Cancer, ONCE Social Group, Vega Baja Acoge, UPCCA Orihuela, UPCCA Bigastro, ADIEM, AFA Miguel Hernandez, Mas Vida, ACECOVA, Red Cross, Association of Diabetics of Orihuela and Comarca and ACAD Renacer.
