Silbo San Pablo Burgos beat Alimerca Oviedo Baloncesto for their fifth win of the league season. The team, led by Bruno Savignani, knew how to gain a good advantage through their inside play on a day when they weren’t excelling in their outside percentage. Luke Fischer was the standout player for the Castilians with 19 points and 4 rebounds and 19 rating points. At the end of the day, the victory leaves the Coliseum team as the only undefeated team and the sole leader of Primera FEB.

Luke Fischer dominated high at the Coliseum, giving Silbo San Pablo Burgos a 6-2 lead. Outside, Alimerca Oviedo Baloncesto recovered in the light (8-8). The Castilians did not give up trying to dominate the match and with an important 11-0 run they established their maximum advantage (19-8). The guests tried to correct the difference at the end of the first quarter (22-15).

A 7-0 start alienated Savignani’s team, which posted its best 14-point lead (29-15). Javier Rodriguez’s team counterattacked, led by Kevin Bercy, midway through the fourth (32-23). The contribution of György Goloman and the intensity of Didak Cuevas again allowed the Castilians to gain maximum advantage (37-23). The Castilians requested a time-out, which they managed to take advantage of thanks to Wemby (71-59). At the final stage of the match in the Coliseum, the distance moved within the ten-point barrier (75-65). Fischer’s work ended with the fifth victory of the season Primera FEB Silbo San Pablo Burgos (79-69).
