Mac introduces new iMac and new Mac Mini | Devices

We’ve already warned that Apple will fill the last week of October with announcements of new versions of its Mac products, putting itself front and center. And so it was.

On Monday and Tuesday, Apple released the iMac and Mac Mini with the new M4 chip and significant improvements in performance, design and connectivity over previous models.

The design is almost identical to the previous model, maintaining the ultra-thin and fanless all-in-one format, but the M4 has improved graphics performance and processing intensive tasks. Mac Mini in turn, it is Apple’s most compact computer, approximately the size of an Apple TV. While it retains its minimalist styling, it ditches the USB-A ports and now features five USB-C ports (some versions have ports on the front); moving towards more modern and versatile connectivity options. The M4 Pro version is aimed at power users and offers more memory and better graphics performance. Additionally, both models support multiple 4K and 6K displays, and the Pro version has additional options for 8K settings.

These launches strengthen Apple’s desktop lineup, offering significant improvements for users of all types; from the everyday to professionals and creatives looking for power and efficiency in their compact equipment.
