For its part, Israeli forces claimed to have attacked Hezbollah command and control centers, as well as the Lebanese Shia group’s infrastructure in the areas of Baalbek and Nabatiye in the south of the country.

“The Israeli Air Force struck command and control centers and terrorist infrastructure used by the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the areas of Baalbek in the interior of Lebanon and Nabatieh in the south,” a military statement said.
