Valve Announces Limited Edition OLED Steam Deck in White

Valve has announced a limited edition white Steam Deck OLED.

This new version of Valve’s handheld console has the same specifications as the 1TB OLED Steam Deck and will not include any hardware changes. You can read our technical analysis of the Steam Deck OLED here.

The new features will focus on color, with a white and gray outer shell. In addition, the carrying case and cleaning cloth will be the same white color.

The first limited edition of the console, released in translucent color in 2023, was exclusive to the US and Canada. However, the blank edition will be available in all regions of the world where the deck can be purchased, including Europe.

Valve stressed that the console is limited in quantity and will not be produced anymore: “once supplies run out, this model will no longer be available.”

The company has no plans to release Steam Deck “2.0” at this time; Its engineers said last year that the technology needed to make the quantum leap did not yet exist.

The limited edition Steam Deck OLED in white will go on sale on November 19 at 00:00 (CET) for $679.

The White OLED Steam Deck will only be available for purchase per Steam account, and only for accounts that made purchases before November 2024.
