Google launches Gemini for iPhone. This is a real Apple overtake on the right
Google has announced the release of a dedicated Gemini app for iPhone. The new tool can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and will provide easy access to Google’s AI personal assistant on iPhone for free.
Native app. While Gemini was already partially accessible through Google’s iOS app or mobile browser, iPhone users can now enjoy the native app.
Seamless conversations with Gemini Live. The assistant offers us the possibility of having voice conversations with it using Gemini Live. We may interrupt you to add additional information or change the subject. There are also 10 different voices to choose from, and it’s available in 10 languages, although that number will be expanded soon. Supported languages include Spanish, and this feature can be used in Spain without any problems.
Help for students. Google emphasizes that Gemini can be a fun companion for students, who can upload images during class to start a conversation about them and what they contain. For example, you can upload a diagram or diagram and ask her to test her knowledge.
Creating Images Using Image 3. Image 3’s generative AI model is also integrated into the application. This will allow us to convert text suggestions into AI-generated images directly on the mobile phone and with remarkable quality.
Interaction with applications. Gemini also seamlessly connects to Google apps installed on your iPhone, allowing you to find and display information directly from your voice conversation.
We’re still waiting for Apple Intelligence. While Apple has begun rolling out its first AI features in iOS in the US with Apple Intelligence, the capabilities won’t arrive in Spain until April. Thus, we are faced with a striking alternative that, for now, defeats its great mobile competitor.
