These are the four Galician companies that will form the Spanish pavilion at the MWC in Barcelona.
Red.es, a public organization subordinate to the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Functions through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, has officially released the list 50 technology SMEs which will unite the Spanish Pavilion in the next edition MWC Barcelonaa, which will take place from 3 to 6 March 2025 at Fira Barcelona Gran Vía. And among them are four Galician companies.
50 SMEs will be able to benefit from a “turnkey service designed for Expand your business opportunities and increase your visibilityThis way, they will have tickets to the Congress, a personalized booth to showcase their products and services, access to networking areas and meeting rooms, and a presence in promotional content.
In addition, they can take advantage of the events organized by Red.es as part of MWC Barcelona.both in the pavilion, participating in the conference program, and visits of business delegations, both international, industry and institutional, according to the enterprise.
Among the companies represented in the Pavilion are four companies from Galicia:
- Igalia: Based in A Coruña, it is a consulting firm specialized in the development of open source projects and solutions. They work on developing browser and web rendering projects with market leading know-how in WebKit, Chromium/Blink and Firefox along with active community members. Design, develop, configure and optimize GNU/Linux-based solutions for companies around the world.
- Galvintek: Based in Vigo, the company has over ten years of experience and a team of over 40 professionals to create cloud solutions for end-to-end digital commerce management, such as the Moodular cloud platform, which adapts to clients’ changing businesses. They build collaborations based on commitment, reliability and sustainability, incorporating technologies such as artificial intelligence or augmented reality into Moodular.
- Information: Based in A Coruña, it is a technology provider focused on the OTT television market. They offer cloud-based automated TV production systems, as well as cloud-based set-top box technologies and metadata databases. They create televised events using robotic cameras and artificial intelligence tracking software. They produce standard TV signals, multi-camera signals, VOD libraries, personalized advertising channels or OTT streaming.
- Situm: Located in Santiago de Compostela, it offers indoor and outdoor navigation solutions and interactive 3D maps to improve the visitor experience in large and complex environments such as airports, shopping malls, hospitals, conference and exhibition centers, sports fields and corporate buildings.
Red.es notes that The number of exhibiting companies increased by more than 11% compared to the previous edition.where the pavilion received 10,000 in-person visitors and 7,000 online. In addition, it hosted more than 60 events, including conferences with over a hundred speakers and networking sessions with international and industry delegations.
