Prices for the new plug-in hybrid SEAT León with an electric range of 133 km are already known.

SEAT León celebrates: In 2024, the Spanish treaty will turn a quarter of a century old.. For its 25th anniversary, the brand introduced a slight restyling that brought with it interesting new features, including a plug-in hybrid version of the e-HYBRID, which uses the latest advances in this type of mechanics from the Volkswagen Group.

The new generation of plug-in hybrid technology combines a 1.5 TSI engine with 150 hp. (110 kW) and 115 hp electric drive. (85 kW), providing total power 204 hp (150 kW). The transmission is a six-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic, and the NCM (nickel, cobalt, manganese) battery has a usable capacity of 19.7 kWh.

It allows you to advertise zero-emission range 133 km according to WLTP (131 km WLTP with Sportstourer body). Of course, it has the ZERO eco-label from DGT. Once you cross the 90 km barrier, you can receive up to 7,000 euros in assistance under the MOVES III plan, as if it were a pure electric car. In addition, we cannot overlook the additional discount of up to 3,000 euros for the deduction of 15% personal income tax.

The charging section also has new features: it reaches a peak power of 11 kW in AC (0-100% in 2 hours 30 minutes) and 50 kW in DC. (10-80% in 26 minutes). Until recently, fast charging was virtually non-existent in the plug-in hybrid category, so adding it greatly improves the vehicle’s versatility.

The e-HYBRID version is also available as a Sportstourer estate.

The SEAT Leon e-HYBRID receives the same assistance as a 100% electric car.

The León e-HYBRID can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds (7.9 seconds for the Sportstourer). Its combined consumption in both cases is 0.4 l/100 km and emissions levels are between 8 and 9 g/km. With FR XM finish, Its cash price is €36,450. (37,220 euros for Sportstourer). In addition to government subsidies, branded financing discounts can also be deducted from these rates.

At the technological level, the updated Leon includes matrix LED headlights for the first time (standard on e-HYBRID model). It also includes new interface for the infotainment system. The Digital Cockpit instrument panel measures 10.25 inches, and the available touchscreens increase in size: 10.4 inches in the Style trim and 12.9 inches in the FR trim (so the latter is also standard on the e-HYBRID).

Since the latest update, the SEAT León has received a number of technological improvements.
