Draw mechanism for the second round of the Copa del Rey
The draw for the second round of the Cup will see the 56 teams divided into four pots corresponding to the different categories in which they compete: 16 teams from the First Division, 16 from the Second Division, 11 from the First Federation and 14 from the Second Federation. The draw is conditional, which guarantees that teams from lower categories will meet teams from higher categories. The qualifying matches will take place in one match and, if possible, will take place on the field of a lower category club.
