Marathons are one of the most exciting events of RTVE Play. Sunday, December 1, starting at 8:15. (Peninsula Time), you can enjoy 44th Valencia Marathon 2024also known as the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon. This race is ideal for all those runners who want to achieve their personal best and whose big names usually don’t fail in the quest for a new record. Additionally, this year’s competition will be honored by DANA and all proceeds will go towards the cause.

This marathon is one of the most important road events not only in our country, but throughout the world. Participants in the trial will include Ethiopian, Sisay Lemmasetting a new record for the route through the streets of Turia with a time of 2:01:48, which was the sixth best result of all time. In the women’s ranks, the winner was an Ethiopian Worknesh Degefa with a time of 2:15:51.

For this edition Lemma returns with a large group of elite athletes who will compete for glory in a marathon that has won enormous prestige as one of the fastest in the world and its beautiful final stretch in the City of Arts and Sciences.
