A scabies outbreak is spreading and reaching three residences in the province.

An outbreak of scabies discovered in Alto Aragon has spread throughout the province of Huesca and has already reached three residential buildings. The Aragonese epidemiological bulletin, published this Thursday, refers to the 24th week of this year (10 to 16 June). It included these new infections as well as outbreaks reported at two other health centers.

In one of the three affected houses scabies (also known as skin itch) affects 12 residents and one worker. In the second there is one infected resident, in the third there are two more. This data was provided on Thursday by the Department of Health of the Government of Aragon. He noted that the three affected houses are distributed between the capital and the rest of the province.
