AFA President Claudio Tapia was re-elected as the main leader of the homeland of Argentine football until 2029.
Rodrigo Escribano, representative of Talleres de Cordoba, resigned from the Assembly before the authorities voted.
The Assembly voted by 44 votes in favor of the account and balance sheet as of June 30, 2024. Rodrigo Escribano put forward a motion against it, which was rejected by Pablo Toviggino, Treasurer of the AFA: “This is an Assembly, not a meeting of friends.”
It has just been confirmed who will be the leader responsible for controlling voting on all items of the Assembly. Monica Bouvet, AFA’s manager of administration and control, is currently preparing a report on the evolution of the organization’s assets.
“The best is certainly yet to come, and we are going to do it together.” Thus Claudio Tapia concluded his speech before moving on to the agenda.
Claudio Tapia continues his speech in Ezeiza:
“Argentine players train by winning and competing. The genes of our players are undoubtedly what many need and are looking for. Let’s not be fooled, this is where the players train. And the great figures are the leaders of Argentine football.”
“Thank you so much for your tremendous commitment and for always voting for your resolutions with humility. There are no impositions here. You vote for what the leaders want. The leader of Talleres does not share ideas, he comes and expresses them. And that’s okay. And there is a huge majority that shares these ideas and expresses them.”
