AMD, Microsoft and TSMC Make Their Own Snacks Out of Superstition
Technology is supposed to be the furthest thing from superstition that exists. But it turns out that Taiwanese engineers are quite superstitious, and here’s why Brands such as AMD, Microsoft and TSMC have a line of snacks under the Guai Guai brand.which they even sell online.
Why AMD or Microsoft are creating their own Taiwanese version Cheetos? It’s not that they want to enter the food market, but rather that they are following a curious tradition among Taiwanese engineers.

Wow-wow snacks and computer engineers
If you go to Taiwan and visit a technology company, you may encounter Wow Wow snack bag on computeror on a desk next to an important project.
Superstition says that these snack bags guarantee that Your computer will always have a green light on, meaning it is working correctly..

Apparently, for some engineer, installing a bag of hooks on a computer worked for some project, and the superstition has since spread to other computer scientists.
