América Femenil supported Scarlett’s decision and gave her all the facilities to leave the club, unfortunately she is not the only player who has been the victim of sexual harassment, since Jana Gutiérrez and Selene Cortés are part of that unfortunate list.
The most recent case was that of Cortés, a Pachuca Femenil player, who denounced through social networks a subject who threatened to rape her at the first opportunity he got. Neither the clubs, nor the league, much less the authorities have been able to guarantee the safety of the soccer players.
