Anonymous leak of information about Horner acquitted by Red Bull

The case has since sparked controversy. Some other team leaders seized the opportunity to demand “transparency” and “speed.” Likewise, major sponsors such as Ford or Formula 1 itself have expressed their concerns about the reported events. That’s all until Red Bull confirmed on Wednesday that the charges had been dismissed.

Horner has led the Red Bull team since its founding in 2005. Longest in his position and largely successful alongside other figures such as Adrian Newey. Since then they have won seven championships, shared between Vettel (2010–2013) and Verstappen (2021–2023); six constructors, 113 wins, 95 pole positions and 264 podiums.
