Professional boxer Antonio Barrul starred in one of the most viral events of recent days over the weekend after he was confronted in a cinema in Leon by a man who allegedly attacked his partner and a girl who was in the room.
After the fight and the broadcast of her video, Barrul declared in front of the Radioestadio microphones that he could not restrain himself in the face of the situation and attacked the man, who began shouting at everyone and provoking those present, who asked him to leave the room.
The boxer said he doesn’t condone violence “but that’s what I got” as he insisted the man he attacked was an “aggressor” who “needs help.”

Police sources confirmed to Europa Press that police had previously reported the man’s attack as an alleged crime of gender-based violence.
Antonio Barrul himself stated from the very beginning that the man he hit was showing an aggressive attitude towards his partner, until during the screening of the film, viewers began to pay attention to this man.
At some point, he “grabbed” the woman by the neck and hit the girl during the fight, after which the boxer intervened and reproached him for this attitude, to which he responded with “insults and threats.”

The Leonese boxer, born in 1999, is a six-time Spanish amateur champion before turning professional. He was part of the Spanish team with which he competed at the World and European Championships.
