Artificial intelligence, the main character of Mobile World Congress 2024
Mobile World Congress organizers expect more than 100,000 people to attend the event, including King Felipe, and will feature 2,700 exhibitors from around the world.
This year at Mobile World Congress (MWC) focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and how our lives are changed not only by artificial AI integrated into mobile phones, but also into other devices, such as robotic dogs that can interact with people, find out your voice and take photos in real time.
This year’s edition was also dominated by return of Chinese companies after the pandemic. One of the Chinese tech giants present at MWC was Lenovo, which unveiled a transparent-screen laptop that combines artificial intelligence and augmented reality, but which will not hit the market anytime soon.
Chinese tech giants are back
Another Chinese giant, Huawei, has been attending Mobile World Congress for several years now. Europe important market for a company that is also building a plant in France.
“In fact, construction continues and will allow us to create very strong supply chain and sustainable in Europe with our customers (…) Europe has been and will always be the most important market for the company. Even despite the pressure and challenges, the company continues to expand investments in Europe,” said Tony Yong, vice president of Huawei for the European region.
Mobile World Congress organizers hope you’ll attend the event was attended by more than 100,000 people, which will feature 2,700 exhibitors from all over the world. Big names also include Samsung, Nokia, Ericsson, Google, Apple and Microsoft.
This Monday at MWC also took place presence of King Philipwho inspected the various stands and participants of the fair.
