Audemars Piguet presents two new 37mm Royal Oak Automatic models
Swiss fine watchmaker Audemars Piguet is pleased to present two new versions of the 37mm Royal Oak Automatic, available in 18k rose or white gold. The white gold version combines the sparkle of brilliant-cut diamonds with a light green hue, while the rose gold version combines brilliant-cut diamonds, gradient blue sapphires and a light blue hue. Both creations will delight the smallest wrists with their refined aesthetics and state-of-the-art automatic micro-mechanics.
New and elegant styles
The 18K rose gold Royal Oak Automatic features 164 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1,618 ct) set on the case, bracelet pins and AP folding clasp, while the bezel sparkles with 40 gradient-cut blue sapphires (~1.05 ct) in exquisite cut. contrast. The play of light of the precious stones is emphasized by the Grande Tapisserie dial, which reflects the blue tone of the sapphires. A matching light blue alligator strap with pearls and large square scales complements the chic pastel aesthetic.
The 18K white gold version features a case, bezel, bracelet pins and AP folding clasp set entirely with 204 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 2,538 carats) creating a unique sparkling effect. The watch features a light green Grande Tapisserie dial and a matching mother-of-pearl alligator strap with large square scales.
Both models feature two indexes at 12 o’clock, set with 8 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.019 carats). The remaining gold indexes are the same tone as the case and also have a luminescent coating for optimal visibility in low light conditions. Appliqued gold “Audemars Piguet”, obtained by galvanic growth, is placed in cartouche below the double index at 12 o’clock.
Each watch’s case is meticulously crafted with in-house alternating satin-brushed surfaces and polished bevels that create a continuous play of light and highlight the multifaceted architecture of the Royal Oak.
Caliber 5900
Both watches are equipped with the latest generation Caliber 5900 with hours, minutes, central second and date functions. The 3.9 mm thick movement combines a high frequency of 4 Hz and a power reserve of 60 hours. The movement also features a 22K rose gold oscillating weight and features exquisite finishings such as polished corners, vertical satin, Geneva waves, circular graining, sunrays and bevels, all visible through the sapphire caseback.
