Avatar 3 reveals the first images

Snow, fire and sand, these are some areas of Pandora that will be shown for the first time in Avatar 3, a film that will be released in 2024.

Although many years have passed since the first installment of this saga was released, the sequel has been a brutal success, since it has raised more than 2,310 million dollars. For this reason, James Cameron is already preparing Avatar 3 that will arrive in 2024.

The new film will continue to place the story in Pandora, but the big difference is that we will see more biomes such as frozen areas, volcanoes and deserts, something that can be seen in the images that we leave below.

What is the series about?

Attention SPOILERS. In 2009, James Cameron started with this series of films that are the most successful and recognized in the history of cinema. The plot takes place on the moon Pandora which orbits the gas giant planet Polyphemus. This place is an exotic and primitive world inhabited by the Na’vi, an alien race with a unique culture and way of life. The story follows Jake Sully, a paraplegic ex-Marine who is sent to Pandora as part of a program to communicate with the Na’vi and learn more about their culture.

After his Na’vi avatar nearly ends up being eaten by some animals on Pandora, Jake is rescued by Neytiri, a Na’vi who becomes his guide to their habitat and culture. Jake falls in love with Neytiri and joins her tribe to fight the humans trying to exploit Pandora’s natural resources.

In the second installment, Jake has formed a family with Neytiri and continues his confrontation with humans. That’s why he has to leave the forest area and go with the water tribes. Although, humans now do not intend to extract resources, but instead want to colonize Pandora in order to leave Earth behind.

The plot will continue with more confrontations.

Now, they are preparing Avatar 3 and they will have to follow the story, where Jake and his family will face Quaritch’s battalion. The cast will include Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Yeoh, Jack Champion, David Thewlis, Oona Chaplin, Giovanni Ribisi, Jemaine Clement, Stephen Lang, Edie Falco, Cliff Curtis, Bailey Bass, Joel David Moore, Jamie Flatters, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Britain Dalton and Matt Gerald.

Avatar 3 will be released on December 20, 2024. While the fourth installment will arrive on December 18, 2026 and the fifth on December 22, 2028.
