Babi wins the regional stage of Red Bull Batalla Madrid

On May 18, the penultimate of the four regional stages of the Spanish Red Bull Batalla season took place in Madrid. Next will be:

Bilbao – June 8, 20:00. Terminal (FICC, Zuloaga Ignacio Pintor Calea 3)

In a region characterized by the contrast between the various archetypes and characters who made up the list, finally those selected for the national final were Baby, Force And Mister Ego. Added to the composite list:

The list will be finalized once the remaining regional qualifiers are announced.

As in other regions, Poem was on the plates, and the leading duo consisted of Bekaesh And Marina Vinyals. The jury was drawn Robledo, Saioa And Mak Menthe last one, repeating the work as in the last two regionals.

The draw in the match was compensated. The first round was characterized by equal levels of opposition. This was confirmed by the number of answers that the jury gave in the first round, more than in the last two regional ones. The predictions came true, and the most experienced ones reached the quarterfinals: Navas and Dani V.K. became the only debutants to reach the quarterfinals.

The quarterfinal format consisted of two rounds:

The exchange of rhymes in the second round was dominated by the ability to listen and respond to opponents. Force, Babi and Mister Ego lived up to the community’s predictions, and Navas moved forward with a fresh and distinguished style, eliminating a classic like Botta in his city after the answer.

SEMI-FINALS AND THIRD PLACE

The semi-final format consisted of two rounds:

60 SEC. × MK – FREE

The participants who reached the finals and received a ticket to the national competitions were:

MISTER EGO vs. BABI

The final spot was contested in a battle for third place between the losing semi-finalists. The confrontation between Navas and Mister Ego was close, but in the end the man from Alicante won.
