Battlefield ends Mountain View’s undefeated streak in regional semifinals

Battlefield 21, Mountain View 18: Calum O’Shea threw three touchdown passes and visiting Battlefield ended Mountain View’s previously undefeated season in the Region 6B semifinals.

The Wildcats took the lead earlier on a Connor Bugni field goal, followed by a Torie Martin touchdown run, but were unable to stop explosive plays from the Battlefield offense.

The Bobcats scored 21 unanswered points, dramatically changing the momentum of both teams.

Mountain View (11-1) added another touchdown on a Martin run and was successful on the 2-point conversion, but they couldn’t do much after that and a late Aaron Barber fumble sealed the game.

Battlefield (12-0) will visit Freedom-Woodbridge in next weekend’s regional final.
